Aromabar need no introduction in the world of downtempo electronica. With their songs featuring on more than 400 compilations worldwide such as the genre-defining Café Del Mar, Brazilectro, Chill Out in Miami or Transatlantik Lounging to name a few, Aromabar have built a dedicated following around the globe. Founded in 1998 Aromabar have released three highly-acclaimed full-length albums and a series of singles, maxis and EPs on the renowned Frankfurt label INFRACom! The band remixed artists like Bill Evans, Les McCann, Silje Nergaard, Dublex Inc or Hacienda and vice versa their songs have been remixed by the likes of Pressure Drop, Mo’ Horizons and Stereotyp. Their songs have been featuring in the playlists of genre innovators such as Coldcut, Rockers Hi-fi or Bugge Wesseltoft. 2015 sees them in full swing working on new material that is both distinguished and appealing. Music gets interesting when traces are obliterated, boundaries become blurred and genres dissolve, and that’s exactly what Aromabar are doing.
